OSF HealthPlans is a for-profit insurance company licensed by the Illinois Department of Insurance on July 18, 1994. OSF HealthPlans’ mission is to provide high value managed healthcare services and products.

OSF HealthPlans was created as a means to enter the managed care market. Official operation began on January 1, 1995. OSF HealthPlans has developed comprehensive managed care products to offer employers in the central and northwestern Illinois markets. OSF HealthPlans also contracts with other hospitals, physicians and ancillary providers to expand our network. Our partnership with providers offers cost control for employers and quality healthcare services for employees.
